As part of the ICT Business Partnering department within the ICT organization, the Business Architect aligns IT solutions with business strategy to drive value, efficiency and innovation. This role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring IT solutions support business objectives. By applying agile methodologies and fostering collaboration, the Business Architect delivers scalable and maintainable IT solutions that enhance operational capabilities and customer satisfaction.

About the Role

The Business Architect – Enabling functions  plays a strategic role in managing IT products that support the core processes of designingdelivering, and maintaining solutions for our customers / business stakeholders. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business and IT to define the product visionroadmap, and features, ensuring alignment with business goals. Reporting to the Value Chain Manager in the Business Partnering Department, you will focus on business alignmentpartnership, and driving roadmap synchronization.

What will you be doing?
  • Define and execute the IT product visionstrategy, and roadmap to align with business objectives.
  • Manage the IT product lifecycle, ensuring continuous improvements based on business needs and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholdersIT teams, and external partners, to gather requirements and define product features.
  • Prioritize the ICT Portfolio backlog, balancing business valuetime criticality, and opportunity enablement.
  • Ensure IT solutions are scalablemaintainable, and effectively support business processes.
  • Foster alignment between business and IT, ensuring solutions drive Business KPIs and Automation KPIs.
  • Identify risksdependencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry trendsemerging technologies, and best practices in IT product management.
About the team

The Business Architect – Enabling Functions is part of the ICT Business Partnering Department, which ensures alignment between business needs and ICT solutions to maximize value delivery. The team includes Business ArchitectsProject & Portfolio Managers, and a Release Train Engineer, working together to manage the demand and delivery of IT-driven solutions in the ICT Portfolio

What do we ask from you?

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Systems, ICT Management, Innovation Management).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Product Management, business architecture, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding or experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe Agile).
  • Knowledge or expertise regarding topics like; Finance, Consolidation, HR and Legal and related IT solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture principles and methodologies.
  • Experienced in working in a cross-functional, international team environment.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 6282 to € 8525 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
