Musicians Without Borders is an international organization that uses the power of music to bridge divides, connect communities, and heal the wounds of war. Musicians Without Borders implements projects, develops methodologies, organizes training courses and participates in international conferences around reconciliation and healing through music. Established in 1999 by founder and director Laura Hassler, and registered as a charitable foundation in 2000, Musicians Without Borders is a global pioneer in using music for peace-building and social change.

Musicians Without Borders currently runs projects located in the Balkans (Kosovo, Macedonia, Bosnia Herzegovina), the Middle East (Palestine), Central Eastern Africa (Rwanda), Central America (El Salvador), and with refugees in Europe. We deliver training in Western Europe (Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Italy), the US, and the UK.

Musicians Without Borders Head Office is located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with an international team of 15 part-time and full-time staff, contractors and volunteers.
