This company is a sustainable peel farmer in the 's-Hertogenbosch region. Instead of being burned to waste, they give orange peels a second life by extracting raw materials from the peel and processing them into food ingredients. This is a circular solution for citrus peels and the company is mega proud of it!
As a Process Operator, you will work with your immediate colleagues and be responsible for operating the production lines in the plant. Your duties include:
- Operating and directing unit operations, such as the distillation column, process vessels, dryers and utilities;
- Ensuring safety and efficiency;
- And working in the field and control room.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you:
- Possess a process operator B or C diploma;
- Have knowledge of working with hazardous and flammable substances in a food environment;
- Have a high regard for hygiene and safety;
- Enjoy both setting up automated systems and working in the field;
- Have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language;
- Can work independently, but also in a team;
- And be enterprising, energetic and come up with improvements.
