At Purple Digital Storytelling, we are looking for a new colleague who shares our passion for technology, creativity, and storytelling.

We help our clients create attention-grabbing moments in the growing experience economy. We combine the power of storytelling, kick-ass visual content, and technology that amazes your senses. As a UX/UI Developer, you work on Hyro, our story design platform, which clients use to build presentations, meetings, training, product reveals, and interactive signage.

As a UX/UI designer at Purple Storytelling, you will play a crucial role in shaping our user experience and achieving our strategic goals. You will start by developing a compelling UX vision that defines the core of our user experience. You will enthusiastically communicate this vision within the team, garnering the support of your colleagues.

You will make well-considered UX/UI decisions and set priorities by leveraging metrics and user research. Collaborating with Product Managers, you will define user personas that align with the company's goals. You will proactively collect these goals and align UX efforts accordingly, without waiting for instructions from Product Managers. You will be able to clearly explain and justify the prioritization of the UX roadmap. Additionally, you will conduct user research and present your findings to the team, identifying opportunities for platform improvement.

Furthermore, you will analyze where our platform stands within our industry, the broader SaaS landscape, and compared to other design tools. Your organization of work will support developers with speed and an iterative workflow. You will follow design systems and structural workflows, avoiding ad-hoc designs. You will present your work comprehensively, showing multiple options with their pros and cons, rather than just one option. You will provide solid acceptance criteria to guide the QA process.

Documentation will be a key part of your role. You will document the UX rules and effectively communicate these to the development team. Moreover, you will strive to become a Hyro expert, gaining in-depth knowledge of every feature of our platform to effectively support all the above tasks.

• 4+ years of professional work experience as a UX/Ui designer
• You have professional work experience within a product company.
• Solid level of spoken and written English
• Communication, you are able to easily explain your ideas & thoughts
• Collaboration. We have an eager team who want to build the best product. Are you able to handle the feedback and questions on proposals.
• Pro-activity, you do not wait for assignments
• Curiosity / Critical thinking; always investigating or researching what can bring our platform to the next level
• Problem-solving; we are not looking for a designer who only creates a design, but actively contributes to solving problems or thinking out features.
• You are living in the Netherlands and are able to come to our office in Halfweg-Zwanenburg
