The challenge to make a design of a yacht or ship every time, so that the enormous amount of piping does not get in each other's way.

As a Piping Engineer you are responsible for designing and routing piping on board of yachts and ships. Every project is new and different in terms of complexity. You design the piping in detail for, for example, the engine room, ventilation systems and sanitary facilities. You do this by means of 3D models, diagrams and detailed drawings such as Isometrics.

• 3D design of all piping systems in Cadmatic or Catia 3D
• Ensure compliance with requirements and class rules

Your passion lies in shipbuilding. You find it a challenge to develop complex pipeline diagrams into 3D routings. For this you need sufficient technical expertise, combined with a real go-getter mentality. You are proactive and pragmatic. You are self-critical and work very accurately.

• Bsc/Msc. in Mechanical engineering or similar;
• 5+ years experience in a similar position
• Excellent knowledge of Cadmatic or Catia and Autocad;
• Good command of the English;
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
