They have a team of 8 developers and are looking for a medior Front-End Developer to help them grow and serve their clients even better. Role description

As a front-end developer you will be part of a problem-solving team that continuously develops their LMS. These teams consist of a mix of front-end engineers, back-end engineers, UX designers, and implementation consultants. Together, you'll elevate the product to a high standard by bridging the gap between technology and design. Your role involves both designing and technically implementing features, making you both creative and detail-oriented.

You will have a significant role and influence in how the software functions and looks, being involved in every stage of feature development. This includes participating in feature planning meetings, writing brief proposals for the product owner, designing solutions directly in the browser, presenting these solutions to the team, and implementing them using modern technologies like TypeScript and React. You will also review code, incorporate feedback, and ensure features meet quality standards before deployment. Important is that you know how to work with TDD or want to work with TDD.

They work in short iterations of 2 to 4 days to achieve fast results, often deploying multiple times a day. Your contributions will significantly impact the final product, and you'll have the freedom to choose techniques and frameworks that excite you, while ensuring your work aligns with their brand style, UX criteria, and accessibility guidelines.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a front-end developer (React.js).
  • Experience with Typescript
  • Experience with Test-Driven-Development (TDD)
  • Preference for agile work methods to achieve maximum results in small steps.
  • Knowledge of automating and implementing recurring tasks in continuous integration and deployment systems.
  • Strong team player who maintains motivation.
  • Fluent in English, living in the Netherlands.
