Do you have experience managing complex procurement packages and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to keep projects on schedule?

We are looking for a Senior Expeditor to oversee procurement packages and expedite the delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring they arrive on time for offshore engineering projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Organize and lead meetings with potential suppliers, ensuring that project requirements are clearly understood and addressed.
• Maintain oversight of essential documents such as contracts and delivery schedules. 
• Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time to prevent project delays.
• Act as the primary liaison between the company and suppliers, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any issues that may arise.
• Identify and resolve issues related to purchase orders, collaborating with stakeholders to find timely solutions.
• Monitor supplier performance and shipment progress, ensuring materials are delivered as promised.
• Coordinate transportation and track shipments to ensure timely arrival at project sites.
• Analyze delivery processes and supplier performance, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency in future projects.

Gevraagd

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, package management, or expediting within the offshore, oil & gas, or renewable energy sectors. 
• Proven track record of managing complex procurement packages and expediting deliveries for large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain logistics.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation, technical specifications, and quality requirements.
• Proficiency in procurement and project management software (e.g., ERP systems).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is an advantage. 
• Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple packages simultaneously.
• Strong negotiation skills and building effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
