Over de vacature:

In the bakery department, your day starts a bit earlier than your colleagues in other departments – sometimes as early as 6:00 AM! Together with the bakers, you’ll prepare the department to ensure it’s well-stocked and tidy before the store opens. Throughout the day, you’ll maintain the displays, assist customers with their requests, and find suitable solutions for their needs. You’ll also help organize and prepare catering orders.

Wat wij vragen:

• You’re available for a longer period (at least until February).
• You’re open to living and working on Terschelling (visiting home occasionally is, of course, no problem).
• You’re hospitable, helpful, and sociable.
• You speak good English, and knowledge of German and Dutch is a plus.
• Required: You have EU citizenship or the necessary papers to work in the Netherlands.

Currently, it’s the low season, which means the island is quieter, and you’ll need to be comfortable with the slower pace during this time. However, as the island comes to life again, the atmosphere will become much more vibrant and bustling.

Schedules are created weekly in consultation with the team, ensuring flexibility. Plus, you’ll enjoy fantastic accommodation in a nearly-new staff house (available for a small fee). Even better, your housing is within walking distance of your workplace. In short, you’ll work for a company that has everything exceptionally well-organized!
