Oversee designs from concept to production and ensure they meet strict standards!

As the Mechanical Engineering Specialist, you’ll join a dedicated team designing and overseeing mechanical systems for naval ships and yachts, ensuring quality, innovation, and compliance with strict standards.

Your work includes

Creating basic and detailed mechanical designs;
Ensuring the execution and verification of strength calculations, shock calculations, and mechanical short-cut calculations;
Advising colleagues and clients on setting up mechanical constructions;
Selecting materials and preparing the material lists;
Supervising the production process;
Conducting site visits to approve your own designs;
Overseeing the assembly process;
Ensuring designs are properly implemented during the construction;
Ensuring that designs meet the high standards required;
Taking maintenance requirements into account when designing products.

You

Have a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or something related;
Have a technical background;
Have 2 or more years of experience in engineering mechanical structures;
Have knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and/or Autodesk Vault Professional
Are analytical, creative, quality-oriented, and communicative;
Are easily adapt standards and client requirements in mechanical design;
Are fluent in the English language
Are eligible to work in the Netherlands;
