What You’ll Do

As a Software Engineer at FIDDS Tech, you’ll be the driving force behind our Data & AI platforms—both for our clients and our internal data platform. You’ll elevate your software engineering skills to the next level, building robust and scalable solutions that make a real impact.

With your expertise in open-source technology, you know exactly how to design and implement a solid data platform. You’ll also help your colleagues grow professionally and regularly brainstorm with architects to continuously enhance our products.

• You have a passion for Data & AI and want to drive business impact
• A minimum of a higher vocational (HBO) or university (WO) level of education and thinking.
• You are fluent in English.
• You have experience working in Agile environments.
• You have over 5 years of experience in data projects and preferably have worked on product development.
• Experience with open-source data platforms and tools like Spark, Kafka, Airflow, MinIO, and Trino, along with related components. Experience with Apache Atlas is a plus.
• Proficient in cloud-native software development, with strong skills in Python and Angular, and knowledgeable about the tools needed to deploy your software into production.
• Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and microservices architecture. Experience with Kubernetes platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines; we use Azure DevOps and Concourse.
• Experience with Azure, Synapse, Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
• You are communicative, a team player, and experienced in an advisory role, both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate solutions for data management and governance.
