Wat ga je doen?
As a Jacking Specialist/Groundworker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Installing jacking beams, jacks, and hoses, and jacking storage tanks;
- Renovating and constructing foundations for storage tanks;
- Working on tank pits, dikes, and pipeline routes;
- Performing concrete work, digging pits and trenches, and installing cables, sewers, and street drains;
- Carrying out asphalt and paving work;
- Operating small machinery such as plate compactors, rammers, dumpers, pumps, and generators;
- Ensuring the proper use and maintenance of tools and machines.
Wat verwachten we van jou?
For this position, we are looking for someone who:
- Prioritizes safety and adherence to procedures;
- Preferably has several years of experience in groundworks (experience in the petrochemical industry is a plus);
- Is in good health and enjoys physically demanding work;
- Displays motivation and reliability;
- Can work well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team;
- Holds a valid VCA certificate or is willing to obtain one;
- Possesses a valid driver’s license (Category B) and has their own transportation (mileage is reimbursed).
