We are looking for both a Lead and Senior Instrumentation Engineer to contribute to innovative offshore infrastructure, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and safe instrumentation solutions. As a Lead Instrumentation Engineer, you will guide a team of engineers, oversee complex projects, and ensure technical excellence. As a Senior Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining instrumentation systems for offshore and energy applications.

Tasks & responsibilities: 

For Lead Instrumentation Engineer:

• Lead and manage a team of instrumentation engineers, ensuring quality and efficiency in project execution. 
• Develop instrumentation design strategies and oversee implementation across multiple offshore projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for instrumentation design, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. 
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and client requirements. 
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the instrumentation engineering team.
• Optimise instrumentation solutions for efficiency, safety, and long-term reliability. 

For Senior Instrumentation Engineer:

• Design and implement control & instrumentation systems for offshore platforms, substations, and energy projects.
• Prepare instrumentation deliverables, including loop diagrams, P&IDs, cable schedules, and specifications. 
• Select and specify field instruments, valves, and automation components. 
• Ensure compliance with IEC, ATEX, and other industry components.
• Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems. 
• Collaborate with lead engineers, project teams, and vendors to ensure seamless integration. 

Gevraagd

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
• Experience:
  • Lead: Minimum 10+ years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Senior: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control systems. 
• Strong background in offshore platform design, HV substations, and energy infrastructure projects.
• Experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA, and SIS systems in industrial applications. 
• Proficiency in Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) and other relevant design tools.
• Knowledge of IEC, ATEX, API, and NORSOK standards.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• For Lead role: Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams. 
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Dutch is a plus!
