Your Role

As a Business Development Professional, you will play a key role in expanding market reach and building strategic partnerships in the K-12, mobile technology, and telematics space. You will develop relationships with school districts, transportation providers, and key industry stakeholders, driving revenue growth and increasing brand awareness. This role requires a consultative sales approach, where you will identify client pain points and deliver tailored solutions that enhance student transportation and operational efficiency. You’ll collaborate closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.


What Do You Bring?

Our client is looking for a results-driven professional with 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships in K-12 education, mobile technology, telematics, or a related field. You should have a strong understanding of the K-12 ecosystem, student transportation, and technology adoption in school districts. A well-established network with school district leaders, transportation officials, and ed-tech decision-makers is highly desirable. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a plus.
