For a market leader in the biotechnology sector, we are looking for an Electrical Engineering & Automation Maintenance Technician to join the team at our location in Boxmeer. As a market leader in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, this organization works with the latest generation of equipment. This is how you will make the difference

As a Maintenance Technician (E&A), you will be responsible for preventing and resolving a wide range of technical issues within the fields of electrical engineering and automation. Your tasks will include troubleshooting malfunctions, reviewing guidelines and procedures, and suggesting improvements to increase equipment reliability. You will report to the Technical Maintenance & Reliability Lead and work as part of a team dedicated to maintaining all machines and processes in the downstream and/or upstream areas. This team includes other maintenance technicians, a reliability engineer, and automation specialists, all working together to ensure smooth operations.This role operates within a 2-shift schedule (morning–afternoon or afternoon–evening), with no night shifts required. In addition, you will receive a 22% shift allowance on top of your regular salary.

What you bring

To successfully perform this role, you will need the following:

Completed MBO4 education, preferably in Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation Technology / Mechatronics / Control Engineering;
Preferably VCA and NEN3140 certified with several years of experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry;
Ability to understand and read technical documents such as electrical diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs);
Good communication skills in either Dutch or German;
Willingness to be on call for emergency service once every 6 weeks;
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
