Our client is a leading international player in the the design, construction and servicing of large onshore and offshore installations for the renewable energy, oil & gas, civil engineering, and maritime sector. For their Schiedam location we are searching for a HSE Coordinator.. As HSE Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policy. You will ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, while actively promoting a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility across the organization. In this role you will have a hands-on mentality and be actively involved on the factory floor. You will work closely with the production department as a key stakeholder. You coordinate a team of 2 HSE Officers and report to the HSE Manager Europe and the chair of the MT in the Netherlands.

You are responsible for:
• Develop and implement policies that not only comply with regulations, but also focus on maintaining a safe workplace.
• Monitor compliance with HSE standards and advise management on potential improvements.
• Coordinate HSE projects and ensure risk management in the production environment. This includes identifying risks, developing risk control programmes and evaluating their effectiveness.
• Carry out incident analysis and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
• Manage relationships with external parties, such as inspectors and suppliers, to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
• Responsible for training your team and providing safety instruction to employees and contractors.
• Play a key role in implementing the HSE policy on the shop floor. You will actively contribute to improving work processes and take a hands-on approach to ensuring safety and efficiency.. • Bachelor degree in a relevant field (HVK, MoSHE, NSPOH, A&O expert)
• Minimum of 5 years of HSE experience in a in a technical manufacturing environment and 2 years experience coordinating projects and guiding teams experience in HSE policy implementation, ISO45001 and safety behavioral change
• Knowledge of Dutch safety and environmental regulations;
• Strong advisory, persuasive, and leadership skills, you are decisive and solution-oriented
• Hands-on mentality;
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written

• Salary between € 5000 - € 6500 gross per month, based on education and experience
