The company provides custom and stock packaging solutions focusing on design and support for our customers’ applications. Headquartered in Bolingbrook, Illinois, we are a growing business in a highly competitive industry, looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced yet family-friendly environment.
Highlights:
We are seeking an Outside Sales team member who will focus on NEW Business Development, Key Account Management as well as drive sales through PackagingHERO.
As an Outside Sales team member, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.
Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Cold Call new potential customers based on industry, product segment and opportunity.
- Manage a few Key accounts and upsell additional segments.
- We would provide a few key accounts to offer a starting base territory to develop and continue to build.
- Manage new customers onboarded and drive relationships and referrals.
- Any customers you’re open are yours to manage, grow and nurture.
- Contact customers who have not purchased in the last 12 months.
- Develop positive relationships with clients
- Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
- Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
- Report on the status of accounts and transactions
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
- Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
Requirements and skills:
- Proven work experience (3-5 years) as a Sales Rep account manager or Business Development professional.
- Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
