Translate design concepts into detailed engineering solutions!

As the Engineer Shipbuilding, you'll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Your role will contribute to standard vessel engineering and the development of new designs.

Your work includes

Developing and reviewing designs, specifications, drawings, as well as stability calculations in accordance with standard regulations;
Creating part and order lists while drafting technical specifications for procurement, ensuring the alignment with requirements and planning;
Assisting in obtaining approvals from Class and National Authorities;
Recording and organizing designs, drawings, and project-related documentation;
Tracking, assessing, and reporting additional or reduced engineering hours;
Ensuring the quality of your own work, aiming for error-free results;

The requirements

You have a bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or something similar;
You have 3 to 5 years of working experience relevant to this role;
You have experience with software packages like AutoCAD and/or Cadmatic-Hull;
You are quality-conscious and accurate;
You have excellent communication skills in the English language, both written and spoken;
You are eligible to work in the Netherlands;
