For our client, a specialist in processing plastic waste into high-quality granules, we are looking for a driven operator who would like to contribute to a circular economy. As an Extrusion Operator, you play an important role in the production process. You are responsible for setting up, operating and controlling the extrusion lines. It is a versatile position that requires you to occasionally perform some physical work. You will ensure that the process runs smoothly and the products meet the set quality standards. The position is performed in a 3-shift operation, where you alternate between morning, afternoon and night shifts.

What will you do?

• Operating, setting and monitoring extrusion lines.
• Performing quality checks on the granules.
• Solving technical malfunctions and performing minor maintenance.
• Working with colleagues to efficiently achieve production planning.
• Registering production data and reporting to the shift manager.
• Actively thinking about process improvements and optimizations.
• Working with a forklift for the supply and removal of materials.

Who are you?

• A stable work history and work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of plastics is a plus.
• Technical understanding and the ability to solve problems quickly.
• Good ability to distinguish colors.
• Willingness to work a 3-shift schedule.
• Experience driving a forklift.
• Accuracy and a proactive attitude.
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language.
