Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Handler Ocean with at least 5 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding, primarily in import operations. Experience in export operations is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will manage larger accounts from start to finish, including booking, documentation, and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:- Operational and Administrative Execution: Oversee the complete process of import shipments, from receiving and recording incoming orders to booking transport and preparing the required documents.

– Shipment Monitoring: Track each shipment until its completion, ensuring customers are kept informed of progress.

– Invoice and Billing Management: Validate purchase invoices and handle billing processes.

– Cost Analysis and Quoting: Determine costs for each dossier and prepare quotes accordingly.

– Team Integration: Collaborate effectively within a small team to ensure seamless operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:- Import Freight Forwarding Experience: Proven experience in import freight forwarding and knowledge of applicable transport regulations.

– Hazardous Goods Certification: Certification in handling hazardous goods is a plus.

– Document Handling: Proficiency in using and applying forwarding documents.

– Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

– Geographical Knowledge: Strong geographical knowledge.

– Customer Focus: A commitment to going the extra mile for customers and achieving the best possible outcomes.

– Technical Skills: Proficient in computer use and quick to learn new and customized operating systems.

– Language Skills: Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
