Mechanic Rotterdam • van nes + plaisier

As a Mechanic you will work in the region of Rotterdam with lifting and transport equipment. You will receive a contract from our client, and depending on your experience, you will earn between €2,900 and €3,700 gross per month. Additionally, you can expect the following benefits: 27,5 vacation days, coffee and a phone allowances. 

• Direct contract with our client;
• 25 vacation days and 3,5 additional leave days (ADV);
• Gross salary between €2,900 and €3,700 per month;
• Phone allowance, €0,75 net coffee money per day worked, and 30% overtime allowance;
• Possibility of working abroad.

As a Mechanic you will maintain, inspect, and repair impressive equipment like mobile cranes, lifting cranes, crawler cranes, or special devices. You will work in one or more departments, depending on your preference: all-round or specialist. You will perform inspections, collaborate on technical solutions, and ensure that everything is safe to hit the road again. You will work with various techniques such as mechanics, electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics, making the job varied and challenging.

Our client is an expert in lifting, transporting, installing, and dismantling heavy constructions for petrochemicals, energy, offshore, and civil engineering. They handle complex projects worldwide and also trade new and used equipment. You’ll work Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30 in a team of mechanics. Overtime only happens occasionally and is always discussed in advance. People tend to stick around for a long time due to the friendly atmosphere, growth opportunities and diversity of work.

• Mechanic experience with moving/rolling equipment is required;
• MBO-level technical education (level 2, 3, or 4);
• A valid driver’s license (B), a forklift certificate is a plus;
• You speak Dutch or English.
