In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that support their success. This is how you will make the difference
As a Key Account Manager, you will manage and grow relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met while driving business growth. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their strategic goals, providing tailored solutions that enhance food safety, quality, and sustainability. Your role involves identifying new opportunities for business development, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions that meet client expectations. You will also mentor junior account managers, promote best practices in client management, and contribute to the continuous improvement of account management processes.

What you bring

You, as the ideal Key Account Manager,will recognise yourself in the following:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience account management, ideally in the food science 
  • Experience in managing key accounts handling high-value clients
  • Fluency in Dutch required, professional proficiency in English is a plus
