Ironworker
Objective of the Role
As an ironworker, you will be responsible for creating and installing fittings based on drawings and instructions for repair and maintenance. Assembling sections, extensions, and preparing them for bonding and welding should be no problem. You must be skilled in working with both thick and thin wall thicknesses. Creating frameworks and ensuring their stability and safety is essential.
Certificates

Responsibilities

Cutting, shaping, and preparing metal components using tools such as torches, saws, and shears.
Assembling prefabricated metal pieces into larger sections.
Installing steel frameworks and structures.
Interpreting construction drawings and technical drawings to understand project specifications and requirements.
Following safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, including the use of PPE and workplace safety standards.

Skills

Proficient in using various tools and equipment for cutting, shaping, and welding metal;
Able to handle heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks;
Able to read and understand technical drawings;
Team collaboration but also independence;
Good command of the English language.
