The Role
As a Marketing Automation & Digital Campaign Specialist you will lead email and loyalty campaigns within UFS's Dutch division. Their goal is to engage food operators, nurture relationships, and ultimately drive conversions, leading to long-term customer loyalty and sales growth. The role also entails overseeing campaign planning, execution, and optimization, specifically through email marketing channels and loyalty programs.
Responsibilities
- Set up and manage email campaigns in Marketo, including nurture flows, monthly inspirational emails, enrichment campaigns, and A/B testing to drive engagement.
- Optimize automated email flows and monitor daily performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve results and maximize conversions.
- Collaborate with data scientists to create personalized, data-driven campaigns that target specific customer behaviors and needs.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and data teams to align digital campaigns with the overall business strategy and ensure a cohesive approach.
- Act as a digital consultant for the Operator Conversion Team (OCT), aligning campaign concepts with customer journeys and using the right touchpoints for effective engagement.
- Coordinate campaign materials across multiple digital channels, including websites, social media, and other platforms, ensuring consistency and visibility.
- Oversee the ‘Cook & Save’ loyalty program, managing stock, orders, loyalty points, and working with fulfillment partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Reactivate loyal users and continuously optimize the loyalty strategy to stay relevant and improve customer retention.
- Be the local expert on Marketo and its integrations, owning the end-to-end email marketing process and ensuring campaigns are executed effectively.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices, tools, and new technologies, making sure email marketing strategies remain effective and future-proof.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (commercial direction).
2-4 years in a digital marketing role, focusing on email marketing; experience in online marketing (B2C or B2B); hands-on experience with campaign management tools like Marketo; and experience analyzing and reporting campaign performance.
Proficiency with Marketo or similar marketing automation tools; familiarity with Google Analytics; and (desirable) knowledge of Salesforce, Adobe Experience Manager, or Adobe Target.
Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
Strong understanding of multi-channel campaign management; in-depth knowledge of the customer journey and optimization for conversions; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Creative thinker with a test-and-learn mindset; proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams; and a result-driven approach to improving performance and achieving goals.
