Role Description:
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Reliability Engineer, you will lead the design and optimization of preventive maintenance programs for Electrical & Instrumentation equipment at a large-scale chemical production facility. This hands-on role emphasizes strategic asset management, regulatory compliance, and continuous reliability improvements, contributing to the long-term efficiency and sustainability of plant operations.

Responsibilities:

Establish and implement preventive maintenance (PM) programs in SAP aligned with long-range plans.
Optimize PM strategies through data analysis and regular reviews to reduce site maintenance costs.
Develop asset strategies and obsolescence plans for E&I systems.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, inspection legislation, and safety regulations.
Identify vulnerabilities in critical equipment and implement risk mitigation measures.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of maintenance engineers and report to the Reliability Engineering Lead.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 7 years' experience in E&I within the petrochemical industry.
Deep knowledge of E&I installations, including low voltage systems, ATEX zones, and IEC 61511 protection systems.
Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical skills with experience in PM optimization and reliability-centered maintenance.
Fluent in Dutch and English; capable of working across internal teams and stakeholders.
