About the role

We are growing our Marketplace team!

Digital marketplaces have become an essential part of the e-commerce landscape. They serve as a daily platform for brands, distributors, and resellers in our increasingly digital world. In addition to over 1,000 stores across Europe, including 55 in the Netherlands and 25 in Belgium and Luxembourg, we have introduced our new digital channel: the MediaMarkt Marketplace. Here, we are also launching new concepts such as "Space as a Service."

As a Partner Manager Marketplace at MediaMarkt Benelux, you will be responsible for managing relationships with partners within your designated portfolio. You will guide partners through the onboarding process until they are fully set up to start selling. Your tasks will also include:

  • Introducing new segments to our marketplace.
  • Identifying, acquiring, and growing "reseller commitment."
  • Launching new omnichannel services, such as "Space as a Service."
  • Acting as a point of contact for internal teams and efficiently solving challenges.
  • Building long-term relationships with our partners, acting as a trusted advisor and business advocate.
  • Ensuring the successful and timely delivery of our solutions.
  • Preparing and delivering business reviews on progress and performance.
  • Achieving revenue targets and operational KPIs.
Your Profile

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and a passion for e-commerce. You have a commercial mindset and can effectively engage brands with the story of our Marketplace and the power of the MediaMarkt brand.

You are capable of connecting with Partner Managers from other MediaMarkt Marketplace countries to exchange insights, best practices, and strategies. By building an international community, we strengthen our position against competitors.

What You Bring:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an e-commerce, Marketplace, or sales environment.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch (a must) and English.
  • A proactive, independent, and results-driven mindset, with a passion for success.
