As a Program Manager for our client you'll have the chance to lead significant initiatives, optimize processes, and drive improvements within the company. This can lead to tangible results and opportunities for professional development and advancement within the logistics sector. You'll be working for a leading logistics company in Rotterdam (with Chinese roots) who provides end-to-end logistics solutions to business across a range of industries. 

As Program Manager you will lead a portfolio of strategic programs to achieve the company's business goals. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute plans, track progress, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery of high-quality projects. You'll also communicate program status and risks to stakeholders across the organization. Responsibilities within your scope include:

• Defining and managing the scope, goals, and deliverables of the program in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Developing and maintaining detailed program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Write PMO documents and set the standard for our planning and project management.
• Leading and motivating project managers and project teams within the program.
• Ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders, including senior management.
• Identifying and managing program risks and issues, and implementing mitigating measures.
• Monitoring and reporting on program progress to stakeholders.
• Ensuring alignment between different projects within the program.
• Continuously improving program management processes and standards.
• Assist with internal communication and change management efforts within operations and other teams.

Gevraagd

In addition to your driven mindset, we hope that you also have a positive attitude. You naturally take responsibility and are definitely up for a joke! You have the ambition to grow in your role. You also have knowledge and experience in:
 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in program management or a PMO role (Experience in process optimization and reengineering is a significant plus). 
• Strong project management skills, including expertise in creating and managing detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin.
• Experience within the logistics industry is advantageous.
• PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
