You understand the crucial role of projects and portfolios within project-driven organizations. You effortlessly align complex system solutions, based on SAP PPM and PS, with this dynamic environment. In addition, you possess knowledge of financial integration with SAP FICO. With your expertise in SAP PPM, you contribute to the transition to SAP S/4HANA. Together with a skilled team, you ensure systems continue to perform optimally—even after the migration. Your ambition, eagerness to learn, and perseverance make the difference.
You will provide substantive guidance to the team focused on the configuration and processes of SAP PPM and PS. You document and communicate decisions made within the organization. You collaborate within a diverse team of SAP experts (PPM, PS, PM, ABAP), where knowledge sharing and collegiality are key. You also work closely with the SAP SAC team and other IT teams. In addition, you will:

Prepare and elaborate the feature architecture. You analyze the impact of changes, discuss them with the relevant stakeholders, and propose solution directions yourself;
Translate the feature architecture into workable packages in an Agile environment, together with your team;
Advise the Product Owner on decision-making and ensure the right balance between technical depth and value creation;
Act as a sparring partner for developers, providing guidance during sprints when necessary;
Coordinate cross-domain architectural topics with other solution, domain, and enterprise architects well in advance of implementation (1–2 Program Increments).

Gevraagd

At least 5 years of experience with SAP PPM (Portfolio & Project Management), PS (Project Systems), and CO (Controlling);
Experience with SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) is a plus;
Knowledge of portfolio and project management processes within capital-intensive, project-driven organizations;
Understanding of governance models is a plus;
Ability to connect complex architectures and stakeholders through a clear vision;
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
Competencies: attentive listener, persuasive, decisive, and coaching.
