The Company
Established in 1959, the company's largest production site in Europe and a significant employer in the region, with approximately 500 employees. The facility specializes in the manufacturing of fluoropolymers, including Teflon™ and Viton™, which are essential components in various industries such as electronics, clean energy, and healthcare.

Role Description
As a Lab Technician you will be part of a small team working in a 5-shift rotation. You’ll perform routine physical analyses to monitor and maintain the quality of semi-finished and finished polymer products. Working in a specialized laboratory environment, you'll use modern, well-maintained analytical equipment and play a key role in ensuring product quality and process control.

Responsibilities

Independently performing (mostly automated) physical analyses following established procedures.
Interpreting and evaluating analysis results and quality standards.
Reporting findings and handling related administrative tasks.
Conducting basic preventive maintenance and first-line troubleshooting on lab equipment.
Escalating deviations to senior technicians, analysts, or supervisors.
Contributing to safety, quality control, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working closely with analysts and production teams, showing initiative when quality deviations occur.

Requirements

Completed secondary laboratory education (MLO level 2 or 3) or equivalent.
Some experience with physical-analytical techniques (internship experience is acceptable).
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently in a 5-shift system and collaborate within a small team.
Service-minded and customer-focused attitude.
Able to multitask effectively, even under pressure.
Precise and orderly work approach.
Proficient in written and spoken Dutch.
