The Company
Established in 1959, the company's largest production site in Europe and a significant employer in the region, with approximately 500 employees. The facility specializes in the manufacturing of fluoropolymers, including Teflon™ and Viton™, which are essential components in various industries such as electronics, clean energy, and healthcare.

Role Description 
As a Lab Technician you will be part of a small team working in a 5-shift rotation. You’ll perform routine physical analyses to monitor and maintain the quality of semi-finished and finished polymer products. Working in a specialized laboratory environment, you'll use modern, well-maintained analytical equipment and play a key role in ensuring product quality and process control. 

Responsibilities 

  • Independently performing (mostly automated) physical analyses following established procedures.
  • Interpreting and evaluating analysis results and quality standards.
  • Reporting findings and handling related administrative tasks.
  • Conducting basic preventive maintenance and first-line troubleshooting on lab equipment.
  • Escalating deviations to senior technicians, analysts, or supervisors.
  • Contributing to safety, quality control, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Working closely with analysts and production teams, showing initiative when quality deviations occur. 

Requirements  

  • Completed secondary laboratory education (MLO level 2 or 3) or equivalent.
  • Some experience with physical-analytical techniques (internship experience is acceptable).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently in a 5-shift system and collaborate within a small team.
  • Service-minded and customer-focused attitude.
  • Able to multitask effectively, even under pressure.
  • Precise and orderly work approach.
  • Proficient in written and spoken Dutch.
