As a Monogastric Nutritionist, you play a key role in the development, optimization, and consultation on feed additives that contribute to the health, growth, and sustainability of pigs and poultry. You will combine scientific expertise with practical applications to offer innovative solutions for modern livestock farming challenges, such as improving feed efficiency, reducing antibiotic use, and enhancing animal health. A significant part of this role involves providing global support to the sales team, which includes regular international travel to transfer technical knowledge and advise customers. Additionally, you will contribute to the design and execution of animal trials, analyze results, and translate findings into actionable insights and strategies that support the growth and continuity of Navigator Nutrition.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support:
- Advise customers (feed manufacturers, farmers, and distributors) on the application of our products.
- Provide global support to the sales team through training sessions, presentations, and technical advice.
- Travel to (international) customer sites and trial locations to share expertise in collaboration with the sales team.
- Contribute to marketing and sales activities through technical input and documentation.

Research and Development:
- Participate in the design, coordination, and execution of animal trials Analyze and process research data, translating outcomes into practical knowledge, sales support, and product improvements.
- Prepare reports and analyses on feed efficacy, costs, and animal performance.
- Organize and participate in development projects and government subsidy programs, such as WBSO.
- Innovation: Develop and optimize feed formulations based on the nutritional needs of monogastric animals.
- Support the integration of new raw materials, additives, and technologies into feeding programs as required by clients.
- Research and evaluate the effects of additives such as butyrate-based solutions on animal health and growth.

Gevraagd

Requirements Education:
- MSc in Animal Sciences, Animal Nutrition, Intensive Livestock Farming, or a related field
Experience:
- At least 2 years of work experience in the animal feed industry with a focus on monogastric animals
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of the nutritional needs and physiology of farm animals such as pigs and poultry
- Analytical skills to solve complex nutritional and health-related issues
- Strong communication skills to effectively transfer knowledge to clients and internal teams
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
- Language proficiency: Fluent in English (written and spoken), willingly to learn Dutch; other languages are a plus
