Portfolio Manager

The Portfolio Manager is part of the Change department and reports directly to the Head of the Project & Portfolio department for Commerce and Supply Chain. The main focus lies in consolidating the departmental roadmaps into one integral change portfolio. And organize alignment with IT, process management, Business Intelligence, and the project department, for start and execution. The portfolio Manager is responsible for the standards in the project approval, investment and progress  processes
 

Your daily Actions

As a Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for the development, prioritization and correctness of the change portfolio for the central Supply Chain and Commerce departments

The portfolio manager is responsible to:

  • Consolidate program roadmaps into a single, coherent portfolio
  • Prioritize initiatives across divisions based on strategic values
  • Standardize project approval processes and documents
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment (process, IT, BI, business)
  • Manage portfolio governance and decision-making processes
  • Monitor resource allocation across programs and projects
  • Track overall portfolio performance and health and report out
  • Identify and escalate strategic risks or conflicts
  • Act as liaison between departments and leadership
  • Maintain transparency on portfolio status and changes
  • Support strategic planning and investment decisions
  • Is responsible to report out on portfolio performance to executive management
  • Lead 2 Project coordinators/PMO
     
This is you
  • MSC degree
  • Minimum of 10-years experience in project portfolio management in a large, fast-paced organization
  • Proven experience in change and project management, preferably in Supply Chain, Commerce or retail
  • People Manager & Team Player 
  • Strong communicator
  • Accurate and analytical
  • Able to think and act outside of own discipline/department
  • Structured and well organized
  • Self-starter
  • Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus
