The opportunity:
Valcon UK is seeking Power Platform Developers to join our growing Intelligent Process Automation capability group within our Technology Practice.

Quality Management
- Developing org-wide solutions using Power Platform, with a focus on Model Driven and Canvas Applications, as well as Power Automate Cloud Flows
- Supporting the maker community in building their own applications, providing technical guidance and best practice techniques
- Ensuring the solutions are simple, structured, and not over-engineered or complex
- Keeping up to date with the evolution of Power Platform and evaluating risks and opportunities of new developments
- Knowledge sharing across the Heathrow business, especially with the Power Platform team/community to foster innovation and collaboration
- Functional and technical knowledge of the full suite of Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Power Pages and Power BI)
- Experience of code-based development (JavaScript, JSON, C#, etc.)
- Knowledge of extending the use of Power Platform, using code-based development techniques and custom components
- Ability to develop Digital solutions, using best practice approaches (Global variables, Reusable components, Solution Design, Business Rules, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Eco-System (Entra, Blob Storage, App Insights etc.)
- Understanding of ALM process and deployment procedures, including solution-based deployment
- Confident communicator with the ability to define solutions to business problems
- Experience of working in agile software development methodologies
- Confident discussing technical solutions with nontechnical teams
- Enjoy reviewing, creating or optimizing bespoke applications in Power Platform
