Senior Manager Cybersecurity Amsterdam • Cyber Security District

We’re hiring a Senior Manager Cyber Strategy Consulting for a global consulting firm in Amsterdam. This role is part of the Cyber Strategy & Transformation team, which supports public sector organizations in addressing both strategic and operational cybersecurity challenges to strengthen their digital resilience.

As a Senior Manager, you will work closely with government clients to develop and implement cyber transformation programs. You will assess risk landscapes, define cybersecurity strategies, and ensure alignment between security and business objectives. Your leadership will be key in guiding organizations toward a more secure and resilient digital future.

• Analyze risks and threats within client organizations and develop appropriate strategies;
• Advise clients on cyber resilience and digital transformation programs;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on innovative solutions;
• Guide clients in implementing digital security measures and compliance requirements;
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring progress and quality;
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, from IT teams to executive level;
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity and digital transformation;
• You play a key role in making digital infrastructures within large, complex organizations safer and more resilient.
  

• 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in a consultancy firm or the public sector.
• Bachelors degree with a strong interest in IT and business.
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for building relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity, including prevention, detection, and response aspects.
• Proven experience in leading project teams, with a keen awareness of team needs and dynamics.
• An emerging network within preferably the public sector.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English.

• Work for a leading cybersecurity consultancy, gaining experience in high-impact projects.
• Base salary depending on experience: up to 100K a year;
