(Junior) Manager Cybersecurity Amsterdam • Cyber Security District

We’re hiring a (Junior )Manager Cyber Strategy for a global consulting firm based in Amsterdam. This role is part of the Cyber Strategy & Transformation team, which supports public sector organizations in addressing cybersecurity challenges and strengthening their digital resilience.

As a (Junior) Manager, you will work closely with government clients to develop and implement cyber transformation programs. With a strong understanding of risk and the evolving threat landscape, you’ll help organizations define their cybersecurity approach and bridge the gap between security and business needs in an increasingly digital world.

• Mentor teams in customer engagement while guiding individuals in their professional growth and industry knowledge.
• Oversee multiple projects, collaborating with experts across different disciplines.
• Ensure quality control of cybersecurity services delivered to clients.
• Develop strategies and roadmaps to enhance clients’ cybersecurity posture.
• Provide expert advice on advanced technological solutions that align with their IT environment and overall cyber risk strategy.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

• 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in consulting or the public sector.
• Bachelors degree with a strong interest in IT and business.
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for building relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity, including prevention, detection, and response aspects.
• Proven experience in leading project teams, with a keen awareness of team needs and dynamics.
• An emerging network within preferably the public sector.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English.

• Work for a leading cybersecurity consultancy, gaining experience in high-impact projects and being able to grow rapidly;
• Base salary depending on experience: up to 82K a year;
