Data Engineer Azure - cluster BCO
Waar ben jij van?Jij bent van data laten spreken. Als Data Engineer zorg je ervoor dat data conform de geldende standaarden, normen en data architecturen in het Rotterdamse Data en Analyse platform wordt ontsloten.Jouw opdracht Je bent lid van een multidisciplinair scrumteam en werkt Agile/Scrum aan een grootschalig datafundament project, maar ook aan data prep epics voor verschillende analyse use-cases. Verder help je richting te geven aan de competence van Data Engineering binnen de gemeente Rotterdam en werk je mee aan ons (Azure) platform. Als Data Engineer werk je aan één of meerdere projecten tegelijkertijd. Dit doe je in een scrumteam van met name Data Scientists en Data Engineers. Daarbij stem je af met de relevante stakeholders zoals Product Owners en eindgebruikers om ervoor te zorgen dat onze oplossing in de behoefte voorziet, duurzaam in gebruik en goed beheersbaar is. Ook zorg je voor de productiegang van de use-cases in AzureML.

De functie Data Engineer is centraal gepositioneerd binnen een jong team: Advanced Analytics, onder de afdeling Onderzoek en Business Intelligence (OBI). Team Advanced Analytics bestaat uit meerdere scrumteams, ieder met een eigen focus: Punten & Beeld, Spatial Data Science, Operational Research, Textmining & Data Engineers. Je gaat werken in één of meerdere teams en sluit daarnaast aan bij de werkgroep Data Engineers en de werkgroep Machine Learning Engineers.Jouw profiel
Je signaleert problemen en adviseert proactief over oplossingen. Je verplaatst je in de rol van de klant en vraagt je altijd af of jouw oplossing aan zijn/haar doelstelling bijdraagt. Je bent daarbij resultaatgericht en flexibel. Je werkt in een team met zowel collega’s als de klant. Je bent communicatief vaardig in zowel woord als geschrift en bent in staat de vraag achter de vraag stellen om zo tot de kern te komen. Je bent analytisch sterk en behoud het overzicht in complexe en dynamische situaties.

Eisen:

• Je hebt een afgeronde WO-opleiding, in de studierichting wiskunde en onderzoek of computer science/engineering
• Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar werkervaring als data engineer op het Azure platform opgedaan in de afgelopen 8 jaar
• Je hebt minimaal 2 jaar werkervaring als machine learning engineer op het Azure platform opgedaan in de afgelopen 3 jaar
• Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar kennis en werkervaring met Python, PySpark en SQL opgedaan in de laatste 8 jaar
• Je hebt de volgende trainingen behaald
• Azure DP-203
• Azure DP-100
• Databricks Fundamentals

Wensen:

• Je hebt kennis en werkervaring met Agile/Scrum werken met DevOps/DataOps en hebt PSM1 behaald
• Je hebt 2 jaar gewerkt binnen een multidisciplinair scrum/agile-team met data scientisten en data engineers, opgedaan in de afgelopen 3 jaar
• Je hebt 2 jaar werkervaring met beheren van containers i.c.m. DevOps CI/CD pipelines opgedaan in de afgelopen 3 jaar
• Je hebt kennis en werkervaring met een cloud migratie van use-cases binnen Azure
• Je hebt minimaal 2 jaar kennis en werkervaring met het in productie brengen van data en pipelines binnen AzureML opgedaan in de afgelopen 3 jaar

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
