Commissioning Engineer

We are currently looking for a Commissioning Engineer for the shipbuilding industry, with focus on yachting.

Function

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be part of a project team and you will work in close collaboration and report to the Commissioning Manager. You will focus only on commissioning activities and planning.

Specific duties in this role include:

Gathering and being in charge of the technical specifications and the systems on board
Ensuring the systems and installations are safe for testing and commissioning
Working in close cooperation with external and internal stakeholders in order to ensure the right commissioning execution
Keeping track and documenting all the programs related to commissioning and sea trials

Requirements

Bachelor or Masters degree in Marine Engineering or similar, coupled with at least three years of experience
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
Quality oriented and a very organized personality
