We are looking for a Senior Electrical Designer for projects in the energy and industrial sectors. In this role, you will design electrical systems for power plants, CO2 capture facilities, and renewable energy projects, ensuring energy efficiency and safety. As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical layouts, selecting components, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Recent projects include energy transition initiatives, high-voltage station designs, and green energy projects aimed at reducing carbon emissions.
Our client is a Multi technical service provider focused on engineering, installation and maintenance of industrial plants. They offer full support from concept to realization, including basic and detailed engineering, E&I, mechanical engineering, automation and asset management. This company combines technical expertise with sustainable and digital solutions to improve production processes, increase energy efficiency and future-proof industrial environments.
- Supervise a team of 1 to 5 draftsmen and junior structural engineers;
- Verify design documents and conduct technical discussions with clients;
- Manage the quotation phase, aligning with project brief, hours, and resources required;
- Review and evaluate information from various disciplines, clients, and suppliers;
- Elaborate design proposals, sketches, and detailed design packages;
- Conduct site control activities and ensure design compliance;
- Ensure delivery of quality final results within the established schedule;
- Archive, manage, and distribute drawings and documents as per project instructions;
- Coordinate with colleagues within the discipline and other departments for smooth information exchange and coordination;
- May require short-term assignments at customer locations or overseas.
- MBO 4 / HBO in a technical direction (discipline dependent) or equivalent;
- Relevant courses/training with approximately 10 years of experience;
- Safety for Operational Managers Certificate (VCA-VOL);
- Familiarity with national and international codes, norms, and standards;
- Experience with MS Office;
- Knowledge of discipline-specific software;
- Proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
