The Company 

Our client is a prominent player in the FMCG sector is seeking a Junior Business Developer to help drive commercial activities across the Netherlands and the Nordics. The Role

You will support the Key Account Manager in managing our clients Beauty & Personal Care products at major retailers like Etos and Kruidvat. Your tasks include helping with customer visits, coordinating product launches and promotions, working closely with internal teams, and analyzing sales performance.

Responsibilities 

  • Support the Key Account Manager in managing the Beauty & Personal Care portfolio.
  • Prepare for and participate in customer visits.
  • Coordinate product launches and promotional activities with both internal teams and customers.

  • Provide input to marketing, production, and finance teams to support sales plans.

  • Propose and evaluate promotional strategies and campaigns.

  • Collaborate closely with departments like Marketing, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure smooth execution.

  • Gather and share information to serve customers effectively and achieve sales targets.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably with sales or retail experience in an FMCG environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).

  • Strong analytical skills combined with a proactive, entrepreneurial attitude and drive to achieve results.

  • Able to work well in a team and independently, showing flexibility, assertiveness, and resilience.

  • Demonstrates ownership, high standards, humility, continuous learning, and a passion for serving consumer needs.
