As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for managing third-party logistics (3PL) operations within the Benelux region. Acting as the vital link between internal teams and logistics partners, you will ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products to customers while maintaining a high standard of service and operational cost-effectiveness.

This role involves continuous performance monitoring, problem-solving across the end-to-end supply chain, and driving improvement initiatives that enhance service quality, productivity, and sustainability. You’ll also foster strong cross-functional relationships and be the point of escalation for logistics-related challenges.

• Manage the performance, capacity, contract compliance, and carbon footprint of 3PL providers.

• Oversee all local operational logistics processes.

• Validate and approve invoices from logistics partners.

• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Lead and implement continuous improvement projects with 3PL partners.

• Serve as the point of escalation for operational logistics issues.

• Work closely with Customer Excellence teams to resolve structural supply chain challenges.

• Support central supply chain hubs on primary transport and invoicing processes.

• Coordinate stock counting and reconciliation efforts with logistics partners.

• Manage pallet suppliers and logistics-related documentation.

• Provide expert advice on logistics to support business decisions.

• Balance customer service needs with logistics capabilities.

• Build strong relationships between hauliers and warehouse providers to ensure alignment and collaboration.

• Execute business contingency plans with logistics partners as needed.
   

  
  Job Requirements
  

• Solid understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing and distribution.

• Familiarity with customer service processes and logistics best practices.

• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP is a plus.

• Strong project management skills and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to influence others and foster strong working relationships.

• Business awareness and a proactive, action-oriented mindset.

• Customer-focused approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
