Our client is looking for a highly experienced Lead Instrumentation Engineer to take charge of complex engineering projects from concept to detailed design. In this role, you will lead a team of instrumentation engineers and designers, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest technical standards and project objectives.
This position requires deep hands-on experience in greenfield Automation and Telecommunication detailed engineering. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of comprehensive instrumentation documentation, including cable schedules, block and layout diagrams, termination and hook-up details, and loop diagrams.
You will also guide the preparation and evaluation of specifications and technical bid evaluations (TBE), and lead the process of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for critical systems such as SCADA/DCS, telecommunications (CCTV, PAGA, LAN, WiFi, radio), and Fire & Gas detection systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams of instrumentation engineers and designers
- Expertise in greenfield Automation and Telecommunication detailed engineeringStrong knowledge of HV substation design
- Proven capability in preparing specs, TBE, and leading FAT for SCADA/DCS systems , Telecommunication systems (CCTV, PAGA, LAN, WiFi, radio), Fire and Gas detection systems
- Skilled in instrumentation deliverables including Cable lists, block diagrams, and layout drawings, Termination diagrams, hook-up drawings, mounting typicals and loop diagrams
