Our client is a European company specialising in value-added services across the maritime bulk supply chain, with expertise in handling fertilisers, sugar, and other bulk goods. The company provides comprehensive solutions, including cargo loading and unloading, transportation, storage, shipping, and customs clearance, ensuring efficient and secure services to their clients.

They are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their expanding team in Zeeland.

In this role, you will be responsible for several production lines within the company with attention to safety and quality, and in line with the procedures, certifications, and policies.

Job Profile for Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Responsible for the safety aspects and providing technical support during the startup of new bags, products, or stacking patterns
• Set the parameters for each bag program or stacking pattern and ensure they are properly documented
• Create instructions and programs to ensure smooth bag changes
• Optimise the weighing and filling process to increase output or eliminate bottlenecks
• Monitor the technical condition of the machines and perform maintenance on a limited number of production lines
• Provide machine training to operators and technicians
• Track the inventory of spare parts and machine components in the production lines

Candidate Profile for Maintenance Technician

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus
• Technical diploma in mechanics, electricity, or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Knowledge of reading electrical diagrams and pneumatic drawings
• Experience with software and systems
• Strong technical knowledge of bagging machines and filling processes
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Strong analytical skills
• Proactive, results-oriented, stress-resistant, and structured
