Junior Engineer (Hull & Exterior Engineering) Kaag • Middle Point

In this role, you’ll be part of a passionate engineering team responsible for the technical realization of luxury superyachts. From 3D modelling to full-scale engineering documentation, you will ensure technical solutions meet the highest standards of quality, manufacturability, and compliance.

Candidates with a higher level of experience or broader technical expertise are also very welcome to apply; we offer opportunities for skilled professionals ready to take on more complex engineering challenges in yacht building, including hull engineering, exterior engineering, moving equipment, and equipment integration.

Duties:

• Create and refine 3D models, detailed engineering designs, and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Class and Flag regulations, as well as internal project specifications.
• Conduct technical assessments to guarantee manufacturability and feasibility.
• Identify and solve technical bottlenecks, providing solutions and recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, production teams, and project leads to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering, Maritime Technology, or related field.
• At least 3 years of engineering experience in the shipbuilding industry is a must.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 3D; experience with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, or Cadmatic is a plus.
• Solid understanding of shipbuilding production processes and construction techniques.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• You are naturally accurate, detail-oriented, and strive for top-level quality and efficiency.
• EU citizenship is required for junior positions.

• An attractive monthly salary of € 3.000 – € 3.500, based on your experience
