The company is active in the high-voltage sector. They sell high-voltage products, build transformers/substations, are involved in grid automation, and focus on grid integration. Their projects typically last between 1 and 2 years, during which they also collaborate with subcontractors operating in the high-voltage (HV) field. However, they retain overall control of the projects themselves. At a national level, they frequently work with TenneT and other grid operators. Especially in light of the energy transition, this is an interesting client for anyone with an interest in grid management, electricity, power engineering, and renewable energy.
- You work together with our design teams on projects that are never standard, consistently raising the quality level with a sharp eye for continuous improvement
- You ensure everything is perfectly in order. You are responsible for safe cable routing, correct connection points, and precisely aligned protection and control diagrams, all in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- You select the right equipment, helping to build a robust electrical infrastructure that is future-proof
- During the construction phase, you are an indispensable link: you support the team on-site, supervise the installation of switchgear, control panels, and other essential components
- You carry out thorough functional testing in close cooperation with the test teams to ensure every system operates seamlessly and safely as intended
- You document everything flawlessly in precise drawings and ensure a smooth handover to the grid operator.
- You have a background in electrical engineering (or something similar), so you know exactly how to turn theory into smart, practical solutions
- With at least four years of experience in the electrical field, you’re confident in your abilities. You know what to look out for and tackle complex challenges head-on
- You work independently but know when to collaborate
- You easily switch between thinking and doing, and between analyzing and taking action
- You share your knowledge, convince with facts, and inspire colleagues by setting a good example
- You speak English fluently, and if you also have a good command of Dutch, that’s definitely an advantage.
