Treasury / Settlement Analyst Amsterdam • Haystack People

Our client, a leading crypto broker, is looking for a Treasury Analyst to strengthen their finance operations. In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for daily cashflow monitoring, transaction settlement, and reconciliations, making sure all crypto and fiat flows are accurate and compliant. If you enjoy investigating discrepancies, ensuring smooth settlements, and working in a dynamic fintech environment, this role is for you!

Our client is a regulated crypto broker with offices in Amsterdam and Nijmegen, aiming to make crypto safe, simple, and accessible. Processing tens of thousands of transactions daily, their finance and treasury operations are critical for cashflow accuracy, compliance, and reporting.

You will join a lean finance team with direct ownership over settlement and reconciliation processes. Work mainly 3 days per week in the office at your chosen location (Amsterdam or Nijmegen), with once every 2 weeks travel to the other office for team alignment. Car or hotel arrangements can be provided. After onboarding, a flexible hybrid setup is possible.

As a Treasury Analyst, you will:

• Monitor daily cashflows for crypto and fiat transactions

• Perform daily reconciliations to ensure all inflows and outflows are accurate

• Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies or settlement issues

• Collaborate with finance and trading teams to maintain accurate reporting

• Support compliance requirements and maintain audit‑ready records

• 3–5 years of experience in treasury, settlement, reconciliation, or finance operations

• Background in banking, fintech, or trading/brokerage preferred

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

• Detail‑oriented and comfortable in high‑volume transactional environments

• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)

• Currently living in the Netherlands with valid EU work permit (no visa sponsorship)

• Salary: €4.500–€5.500/month + 8% holiday allowance + 13th month bonus

• Hybrid setup:

  • 3 days per week in the office (main location Amsterdam or Nijmegen)

  • Once every 2 weeks at the other location (car/hotel arrangement possible)
