We’re looking for a Technical Business Developer to drive growth by connecting our engineering capabilities with the needs of new and existing customers.

As Technical Business Developer, you are the link between our customers and our technical teams. You understand the challenges our customers face and translate them into innovative,

profitable solutions. You thrive on building strong relationships and ensuring smooth, successful collaborations.

 Your job as a Technical Business Developer at Benchmark in bullet points:

• Developing sales strategies based on thorough market analysis

• Identifying, and acquire, new clients in north-west Europe

• Analyzing customer needs, business models, financials and market trends

• Connect to customers and translate their challenges into concrete, profitable solutions

• Identify and qualify design engineering opportunities that lead to manufacturing engagements

• Coordinate collaboration between customers, engineers, and project managers

• Monitor time, quality, and budget to ensure customer satisfaction

Our customers develop complex hardware in regulated, high-tech markets like medical, aerospace, defense and complex industrials. They range from startups to established OEMS across Europe are innovation-driven and open to collaboration.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with principal engineers to dive deep into tech, team up with program managers to pitch standout proposals, and work with our global manufacturing teams to choose the best-fit factory for each customer.

You will team up with Rienk, our business developer, combining your strengths to build lasting customer relationships and drive strategic growth.

What are we looking for?

• A technical background,preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

• Experience in business developmentor the ambition and talent to grow into it

• A (proven) commercial and strategic mindset

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus

• It’s a big bonus to us if you have experience in EMS industry or selling design and manufacturing services
