Wat je doet als Assistant Store Manager

• Elke week sta je het grootste deel van je tijd op de vloer. Mooi, want met jou erbij zie je direct wat er beter kan. Bovendien kun jij niet zonder die oprechte klantverbinding.

• Tijdens sollicitaties met nieuwe barista’s of shift supervisors vroeg je al naar hun ambitie. Je wilt hun groei ondersteunen, dus je traint, coacht, begeleidt en volgt de ontwikkeling van je partners.

• Tijdens je administratietijd check je de planning, maak je roosters, beantwoord je e-mails en analyseer je de business. Zijn de targets gehaald, positieve reviews ontvangen?

• Binnen de richtlijnen van Starbucks is er genoeg ruimte om te ondernemen. Wil je evenementen organiseren of zie je kansen om tafels te reserveren voor zakelijke afspraken? In overleg met de districtmanager is er veel mogelijk.

• Inkoop is gebaseerd op verwachtingen en voorspellingen. Warm weer betekent meer volle melk, koud weer vraagt om extra chocolade. En natuurlijk speel je in op feestdagen en evenementen. Je plaatst de bestelling zelf of controleert die van de Shift Supervisor.

Als Assistant Store Manager:

• Heb je ervaring als leidinggevende in de retail of horeca

• Kun je plannen en organiseren, maar ook de taken binnen jouw team verdelen

• Werk je resultaatgericht, maar richt je je het liefst eerst op je mensen. Dankzij hen behaal je namelijk je doelen

• Ben je benaderbaar; jouw team stapt makkelijk op je af om hun verhaal te delen

• Piektijden en stress? Niet bij jou. Zelfs met een tekort aan personeel of voorraad zie jij alleen oplossingen. Onvoorziene omstandigheden? Jij blijft rustig

• Ben je flexibel inzetbaar [maandag t/m zondag], net als je werktijden

Wat je krijgt als Assistant Store Manager

• Een minimumsalaris van €2.759,47 bruto per maand (excl. vakantiegeld) en kans op bonus bij het behalen van je targets;

• Bonus tot 12% van je maandsalaris per kwartaal bij goede resultaten;

• Jaarlijkse bonus gebaseerd op het aantal dienstjaren bij Starbucks Nederland;

• Recognition Program op basis van betrokkenheid en uitzonderlijke prestaties;

• 5% toeslag bovenop je salaris bij werken in high volume stores;

• Een 7-maanden contract met een proeftijd van 1 maand;

• Volledige reiskostenvergoeding met het OV (afhankelijk van de reisafstand naar de store);

What You will do as an Assistant Store Manager

• Each week, you’ll spend most of your time on the floor. That’s great, because with your presence, you immediately see what can be improved. Plus, you thrive on authentic customer connection.

• During interviews with new baristas or shift supervisors, you ask about their ambitions. You want to support their growth – through training, coaching, mentoring, and closely following the development of your partners.

• During your administrative hours, you check the planning, create schedules, answer emails, and analyze the business. Have targets been met? Are positive reviews coming in?

• Within Starbucks’ guidelines, there’s plenty of room to be entrepreneurial. Want to organize events or see opportunities for reserving tables for business meetings? There’s a lot possible in consultation with your district manager.

• Purchasing is based on expectations and forecasts. Warm weather calls for more whole milk, while cold weather means extra chocolate. And of course, you plan around holidays and local events. You’ll place the order yourself or check the one created by the Shift Supervisor.

As an Assistant Store Manager, You:

• Have experience in a leadership role in retail or hospitality

• Can plan and organize, and know how to delegate tasks within your team

• Are results-driven, but always put your people first – they help you reach your goals

• Are approachable – your team feels comfortable coming to you with their stories

• Handle peak times and stress with ease. Even with staff shortages or low stock, you focus on solutions. Unexpected situations? You stay calm

• Are flexible to work Monday through Sunday, with varying shifts

• A minimum gross monthly salary of €2,759.47 (excluding holiday pay), with a bonus when targets are achieved

• Quarterly bonuses of up to 12% of your monthly salary for strong performance
