Your Role

In your Role as the Head of Business Development (DENZA brand) in Benelux, you will need to take the challenge of instrumentally setting up the DENZA brand business from the ground up.

You will assist the Country Manager and lead on DENZA network development, retail and its teams. Your goal will be to establish and further expand the DENZA brand, ensuring its success in the Benelux market.

As a member of BYD Benelux Team, you will report directly to the Country Manager Benelux.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and implement a robust dealership network in the Benelux market, ensuring partners are fully equipped to represent the DENZA brand and deliver exceptional customer service via close collaboration with BYD Europe internal departments, such as marketing, network, operations, and legal.
  • Develop comprehensive launch plans and execute high-impact launch events to create significant market entry buzz and awareness for the DENZA brand.
  • Achieve initial market penetration by implementing effective sales strategies. Drive continuous growth in sales volume and expand market share.
  • Increase brand visibility and influence through media coverage, social media engagement, and strategic partnerships with digital media and influencers.
  • Foster strong customer relationships through targeted marketing campaigns and personalized customer experiences. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain a competitive positioning of the DENZA brand by providing market insights, competitor benchmarking, and continuously adapting strategies to market conditions.
  • Efficiently allocate and manage the business development and sales budget, ensuring maximum return on investment and sustainable growth.

Key Objectives

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and kick off the pre-launch programs.
  • Establish a strong dealership network across the Benelux region.
  • Ensure the successful local launch of the DENZA brand collaborated with pan-European events.
  • Achieve sales growth targets, expand market share and continuously increase brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Maintain competitive positioning of the DENZA brand.

You have

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with successes in automotive OEM business development sales, or similar roles.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch or French is necessary, with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and positive influence in teams.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking skills, and good reputation with business partners in the Benelux market.
  • In-depth knowledge and passion about the European automotive industry's history, brands, products, and technologies.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a rapidly developing, dynamic environment and partner effectively with cross-border/cultural teams.
  • Ability to travel frequently in the Benelux region, maintaining close connections with dealership partners and BYD Europe HQ.
