Numidia is an ambitious organization that is constantly evolving. To support its growth objectives, an experienced and entrepreneurial CFO is sought to join the Board of Directors. A seasoned, change-oriented, strategic financial leader with strong business acumen. This professional combines financial steering with strategic insight and provides direction to the organization based on clear analysis and reliable management information. A CFO who pairs strong financial expertise with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset and a deep understanding of international trading environments. With a helicopter view, the CFO will act as a critical sparringpartner to the Board of Directors, contribute to well-founded decision-making, produce monthly (financial) reports, manage KPIs, and ensure financial discipline.
Initially, your responsibilities as CFO and member of the Board of Directors will include:

• Directly managing the assigned team leads;
• Daily management, training, and development of the Finance & IT team;
• Supporting long-term planning and strategy of the company;
• Further professionalization of the internal organization for the next growth phase, in which Finance evolves as a full-fledged business partner via high-quality management reports, financial and non-financial KPIs, budgeting, and forecasting;
• Final responsibility for administration and internal/external reporting, including the preparation of the annual financial statements in collaboration with the accountant and tax advisor, and timely and accurate (financial) reporting to relevant stakeholders (shareholders, Board of Directors, financiers, management);
• Final responsibility for adequate treasury (cashflow and FX-management), accounting & control, business intelligence and the preparation of ESG reporting;
• Responsibility for investments, financing, taxation and transfer pricing
• Joint responsibility (with the CEO) for securing the financing required for further growth;
• Joint responsibility for riskmanagement: general control, improvements, and reporting
• Driving an organization that operates efficiently, with focus and cost awareness and encouraging this behavior throughout the company;
• Liaising with financial departments of suppliers and customers to ensure smooth financial communication and coordination;
• Responsibility for an adequate IT infrastructure, including ERP, BI, RPA and AI roadmap, portfolio management and coordinating external partners;

For this CFO position at Numidia, the ideal candidate meets the following profile:

• Master’s level, with relevant completed education(s);
• At least 10 years of work experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a General Management or CFO role within international commercial (trading) companies;
• Basic knowledge of and experience with (dairy) derivatives trading environment is a preference;
• Strong analytical, connecting, and inspiring leadership skills;
• Demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit and business insight. Capable of focusing on results and applying (financial-commercial) business operations in a trading environment;
• Strategic thinker, problem solver, decisive, and stress resistant;
• Team player and company ambassador, with multicultural and commercial sensitivity
• Good knowledge of automated systems (Microsoft Office and ERP systems)
• Clear communicator—both internally and externally—capable of guiding people through change, empowering the team and improving people;
• Fluent in English speaking and writing; Dutch is a preference.
