To contribute to the successful cultivation of high-quality crops in indoor farming systems by apply-ing foundational knowledge of plant care and controlled environment agriculture. Committed to gaining hands-on experience, supporting sustainable practices, and growing professionally to eventually take on advanced responsibilities in the field.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
· Regularly inspect plants for health, growth, and signs of pests or diseases
· Assist in managing climate control systems, including temperature, humidity, and lighting
· Help maintain irrigation systems and ensure proper nutrient delivery to crops
· Record and analyse data on crop performance and environmental conditions
· Support integrated pest management (IPM) strategies to prevent and control pests
· Assist in maintaining equipment and ensuring the cleanliness of the growing environment
· Coordinate temporary workers

Required Profile
· Relevant Horticultural degree, In horticulture, agriculture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
· Familiarity with hydroponics, aeroponics, or other indoor farming techniques is preferable
· Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and address issues affecting plant health
· Teamwork: Strong communication and collaboration skills
· Strong verbal and written communication abilities in English and Dutch preferably.
