The NationalAccountingManager is responsible for overseeingfinancial reporting, ensuring compliance withaccounting standards, and leading a team of finance professionals to maintain accurate financial records. This role plays a critical part in supporting strategic financial decisions and ensuring transparency infinancial operations.
- Overseefinancial accountingand reporting in accordance with IFRS and Dutchaccounting standards.
- Deliver timely, accuratefinancial statementsand reporting.
- Ensure consistent application ofaccountingpolicies and procedures in close collaboration with Corporate Knowledge Centers.
- Drive process improvement and cost efficiency initiatives acrossfinancial operations.
- Maintain stronginternal controlsystems and lead compliance audits.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
- Manage and develop a team of 5 finance professionals, promoting continuous learning and performance excellence.
- Monitorfinancial regulationupdates and ensure timely implementation of necessary changes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’sdegree in Finance,Accounting, or related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience infinancial accountingand reporting, preferably within a multinational company.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and Dutchaccounting standards.
- Leadership mindset with the motivation tomentorand support the team.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication andstakeholder engagementskills.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain industry is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in finance systems andMicrosoft Office, especially Excel.
