Do you like working with your hands and solving technical challenges? Do you have a background or diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics? We are looking for a maintenance technician to join an international production company near Amsterdam. This is a practical, hands-on role where you will contribute directly, learn on the job, and take real responsibility.
What will you do
In this role, you help keep the production lines running smoothly. You carry out preventive maintenance, solve technical issues, and support improvements to machines and installations. You will work in a modern, safe and clean industrial environment.
Your main tasks:
perform preventive maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, adjustments)
replace parts such as hoses, valves, belts, seals and filters
inspect hydraulic and pneumatic systems
troubleshoot and carry out small repairs
assist during machine startups after maintenance
record your activities clearly and accurately
diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics (mbo or similar)
interest in industrial maintenance and technical systems
proactive, hands-on and safety-aware mindset
willingness to learn and develop in a technical team
comfortable with physical and practical work in production environments
knowledge of Schneider PLC or SCADA is a plus
salary up to €4,500 gross per month (depending on experience)
day shifts only (monday to friday – evenings and weekends free)
reimbursement for gym membership and health insurance
25 vacation days per year (full-time basis)
12-month contract with intention to extend
